The Design
About Noiseless Wazon na kwiaty
Noiseless to ręcznie toczony porcelanowy wazon na kwiaty, zaprojektowany z myślą o długich lub dużych roślinach. Forma została ukształtowana przy użyciu minimalnej liczby linii, aby zrównoważyć światło i cień. Powierzchnia to surowa porcelana o miękkiej, gładkiej fakturze, a przezroczysta szkliwo zostało naniesione wyłącznie wewnątrz. Rozmiary wahają się od 60 na 60 na 110 milimetrów do 100 na 100 na 240 milimetrów. Każdy egzemplarz jest ciężki, dzięki czemu kwiaty na długich łodygach zachowują stabilność. Ustawione razem wazony przypominają kolumny i tworzą spokojną, monochromatyczną kompozycję, którą można dowolnie aranżować.

- Design Challenge
- The challenge consisted of the difference between the first picture and reality.
The first picture to the blue print. - Research
- A study of simple, beautiful shapes, exploring the balance between light and shade. The aim was to pursue essential beauty without being distracted by decoration or color. An analog approach served as the source. Light of slightly different colors shines on both sides to accentuate the shadows and contours. Simple and beautiful shapes were formed by carving each of the wheel-thrown porcelain vases by hand. As a result, instead of accentuating the design with decorations and colors, a unique form was found. The characteristics of software do not influence it. It is as pure as it can get.
- Inspiration
- Being interested in how the form of an object is expressed by light and shadow the goal was to design a vase with a minimum of lines, carving out a balance between light and shade. The vases are arranged like columns. By leaving the flowers out of the vase, the path of creation for a monochrome silence was pursued. This creates freedom. Freedom in the arrangement of the vases and in the imagination in relation to the arrangement of the flowers.
- Project Duration
- The project startet in February 2018 in Berlin
- Operation Flow
- The light and shadows soften the look of this vase and make it suitable for any place. It can also be set to engage with flowers. Made like a weight, this vase, especially with long-stemmed flowers, makes a big difference and gives the impression of deviating from the norm. What you have there is an experience that you can share with others.
