About Rockefeller Rock Crystal Diamond Pierścionek z biżuterii artystycznej

Rockefeller Rock Crystal Diamond to pierścionek z biżuterii artystycznej wykonany z żółtego złota próby 14K. Pierścionek posiada wykonany na zamówienie naturalny kryształ górski o szlifie trójkątnym (trillion), mierzący 9 milimetrów. Trójkątny metalowy element wysadzany drobnymi diamentami w oprawie pavé został przymocowany do górnej części kryształu górskiego, przypominając kształtem tarczę. Precyzyjny pomiar jest niezbędny, aby metalowy element idealnie pasował do powierzchni kamienia szlachetnego, w którym wywiercono niewielkie otwory łączące obie części. Projekt inspirowany jest odważnym charakterem Nowego Jorku. Pierścionek można nosić lub przechowywać jako obiekt kolekcjonerski.

Unique Properties
This ring is made in 14K yellow gold and features a custom cut trillion cut natural rock crystal. A triangle piece filled with tiny pave diamonds is affixed onto the rock crystal, almost looking like a diamond shield. Measurements have to be precise in order for the top metal shield to fit the surface of the rock crystal.
Dimensions & Packaging

Production Technology
First a ring setting was drawn on paper and transferred to the computer to create a computer model. The design was then casted and a raw rock crystal was cut to fit the setting. The top surface of the rock crystal was measured in order to create the top metal piece filled with diamonds.

Once the diamonds are set, the top piece is affixed to the rock crystal by drilling holes on the surface of the gemstone. The rock crystal and the metal piece is then joined together.
Design Challenge
The hardest part of the design was to affix the top metal piece onto the rock crystal
Inspiration
This design is inspired by the bold characteristics of New York City. Like the city, this ring portrays courage, love and vulnerability. Rock crystal is used as its name represent the "rock" city of New York- buildings cover the whole city.
Operation Flow
This ring can be worn or displayed at home as a collectible
