About Erhu Krzesło
Erhu to krzesło inspirowane erhu, tradycyjnym chińskim instrumentem strunowym. Projekt wykorzystuje kulturę narodową jako język współczesnych meblarstwa i eksploruje nowoczesny chiński styl. Konstrukcja jest prosta i składa się tylko z dwóch elementów: powierzchni siedziska oraz nóg. Oparcie, powierzchnia siedziska i przednia noga tworzą jeden element z giętej sklejki, formowany w przygotowanej wcześniej formie. Powierzchnia jest wykończona okleiną z drewna jesionowego i orzechowego, a nogi wykonane są z drewna orzechowego. Kształt tylnej nogi przywołuje na myśl nogę w formie kopyta, charakterystyczną dla mebli w stylu Ming. Linie krzywych podążają za kształtem ludzkiego ciała.

- Unique Properties
- Inspired by Erhu, a traditional Chinese classical instrument, the design incorporated national culture as a language of modern furniture, exploring a new style of contemporary Chinese furniture.
The structure is so simple that there are only two parts: seat surface and legs. The chair back, seat surface and front leg are made of curved plywood as a whole, and the three dimensional seating space is completed with two dimensional curves fitting the shape of the human body. - Dimensions & Packaging

- The integrated shape of the seat surface, chair back and front leg is completed by pressing the curved plywood in a premade mold.
The surface used ash wood and walnut for veneering. The legs are made of walnut. - Design Challenge
