About Fluctus Design Collection Kolekcja Biżuterii

Fluctus to kolekcja biżuterii inspirowana drapowaną tkaniną rzymskich rzeźb. Projekt przekłada fałdy klasycznej draperii na rzeźbione, płynne wzory podążające za kształtem ludzkiego ciała. Każdy element mierzy około 25 na 75 na 18 milimetrów. Formy zostały najpierw naszkicowane, następnie zamodelowane w trzech wymiarach, wydrukowane w wosku, odlane, pokryte powłoką i ręcznie wypolerowane. Wydruki testowe posłużyły do sprawdzenia szczegółów oraz komfortu noszenia. Kolekcja powstała w Los Angeles w ciągu czterech tygodni.

Project Duration: 4 weeks; Los Angeles
Operation Flow: I would first sketch out the geometry, and start 3d modeling it to visualize the design digitally. Then, I would test print the model into wax to see the details and ergonomics. The finishing product is then made by hand.
