Toolless to szafka pod telewizor zaprojektowana do montażu bez użycia narzędzi. Łączniki są fabrycznie wstępnie zamontowane w panelach, dzięki czemu panele wystarczy docisnąć lub wsunąć na swoje miejsce. Łączniki działają dzięki odkształceniu sprężystemu i umożliwiają wielokrotny demontaż oraz ponowny montaż, co wydłuża żywotność szafki. Panele są zapakowane w kolejności montażu, a dwukolorowe wykończenie paneli wyraźnie pokazuje stronę wewnętrzną i zewnętrzną. Montaż zajmuje około dziesięciu minut. Szafka ma wymiary 1400 na 395 na 450 milimetrów i jest wysyłana w formie płaskiej paczki.

- Unique Properties
- Traditional panel furniture assembly often involves dealing with unlabeled panels, numerous screws, and complex instructions, all of which can make the task time-consuming for many people.
The connector eliminates the need for tools, and "Toolless" panels are packaged in the sequence of assembly, ensuring that users can assemble their furniture in about 10 minutes. - Dimensions & Packaging
- TOOLLESS cabinet's external dimensions are 1400mm*395mm*450mm; The assembled structure makes it possible to achieve flat packaging, and its packaging size is 1545mm*485mm*115mm.

- Production Technology
- TOOLLESS cabinets use connectors that pre-insert panels at the production stage, allowing users to simply press or slide panels together to complete assembly. This connector uses the principle of elastic deformation and can be repeatedly disassembled and reassembled, thereby extending the service life of the furniture. This feature makes it suitable for repositioning or correcting assembly errors. In addition, TOOLLESS uses sequential packaging and combines a logical modular assembly process to greatly improve the user experience.
- Design Challenge
- Repeated adjustment of composite materials, and finally find the most suitable hardness, in order to guide users to install quickly, the cabinet uses two-color plates, which can allow users to intuitively distinguish the inside and outside of the cabinet. Through the repeated study of our structure, we have solved its stability problem.
- Research
- The installation of traditional panel furniture is more complicated, and professionals are required to arrange packaging without error. Our TOOLLESS cabinet brings the most simple and understandable packaging to users, so that our cabinets can be reused many times. The key technology is its connector, in our research, we tried many new materials and new processes, and finally selected plastic connector, the structure is strong, stable, low-cost, and it is reusable.
- Inspiration
- "Toolless" also champions sustainability. It allows for repeated disassembly and assembly without causing damage to furniture, which extends the furniture's lifespan and prevents waste of resources.
Finally, "Toolless" refines furniture structures and adopts flat packaging, resulting in improved time and cost efficiencies for manufacturers. - Project Duration
- The project began in November 2023 in Shenzhen, China, and ended in April 2024 in Shenzhen, China, with an exhibition at Paris Maison & Objet Bally in August 2024.
- Operation Flow
- The modern style TOOLLESS cabinet can be matched with a variety of home environments, which supports the user to disassemble the furniture several times when moving, in order to extend the service life of the product.
