About Whisper Of Alabaster Projekt wnętrza mieszkalnego
Whisper of Alabaster to projekt wnętrza mieszkalnego o powierzchni 90 metrów kwadratowych w Nowym Tajpej na Tajwanie. Układ obejmuje otwartą strefę dzienną z jadalnią, sypialnię główną z łazienką oraz pokój wielofunkcyjny. Alabastrowa paleta barw połączona z drewnem tworzy spokojną atmosferę. Powłoki mineralne nadają ścianom fakturę i trwałość. Zakrzywione sufity wykonano z wykorzystaniem frezowanej na zamówienie stolarki, a podłoga z drewna inżynieryjnego została ułożona w jodełkę. Ręcznie sterowane rolety dzień-noc pozwalają mieszkańcom regulować dostęp światła dziennego i poziom prywatności. Meble o zaokrąglonych kształtach łagodzą linie każdego pomieszczenia.

- Production Technology
- Utilizes mineral coatings for wall durability and texture. Custom CNC-milled carpentry forms the ceiling tiers. Engineered timber flooring in a herringbone pattern ensures structural stability and visual coherence.
- Design Challenge
- The primary challenge involved balancing minimalism with domestic warmth. Depth is achieved by layering textures—mineral paint and timber—within a monochromatic scheme. Precise engineering was required to conceal HVAC systems within low-profile curved ceilings to maximize spatial height.
- Research
- Investigates the impact of neutral tones and curvilinear forms on urban stress. By minimizing visual noise through a monochromatic palette, the project explores interior architecture as a medium for mental restoration.
- Inspiration
- Captures the balance of dawn through the concept of "Ma" (empty space). The design prioritizes daily rituals, allowing domestic life to define the spatial focus rather than ornamental layers.
- Project Duration
- Design phase lasted 2 months and construction 4 months. Completed in 2023. Located in New Taipei City Taiwan.
- Operation Flow
- The layout organizes flow between social and private zones. An open kitchen integrates with the living area to facilitate family interaction. Residents control privacy and light intensity through manual zebra blinds, actively shaping their environment.
