O projekcie The Sea Refuses No River Projektowanie wnętrza restauracji
„The Sea Refuses No River” to wnętrze restauracji Teppanyaki zlokalizowanej w centralnej części Szanghaju. Powierzchnia wnętrza wynosi 478 metrów kwadratowych, a powierzchnia krajobrazowa 800 metrów kwadratowych. Projekt łączy nowoczesne linie z tradycyjną chińską konstrukcją drewnianą, nawiązując do żeliwnych ram okiennych domów Shikumen. Zastosowane materiały to miedź imitująca stal nierdzewną, hajnańska skała wulkaniczna, fornir dębowy, szary marmur oraz miękkie tkaniny. Ręcznie wykonany dywan ścienny wyściela korytarz. Zakrzywione ściany i schodkowy sufit sugerują ruch fal.
