About Cinque سوفا
سینکوی یو دریو کسیزه سوفا ده چې د پیچونو یا میخونو پرته د اسانه یوځای کولو لپاره ډیزاین شوې ده. یو اصلي غزیدونکی (انټرلاکینګ) سیسټم دې ته اجازه ورکوي چې سوفا په لاس سره، هرکله چې اړتیا وي، پرته له اوزارونو نه یوځای او بیا جلا شي. جوړښت د بیرچ پلایووډ څخه جوړ شوی چې د فینکس سره یوځای شوی او د عددي کنټرول ماشین کاري (CNC) له لارې شکل ورکړل شوی دی. بالښتونه د ایکو-چرمو یا طبیعي لاسي جوړو شویو ټوکرونو سره پوښل شوي دي. د سوفا اندازه ۲۰۵ په ۸۸ په ۷۳ سانتي متره ده، او کله چې جلا شي یوازې ۱۰ سانتي متره لوړوالی لري، نو له همدې امله یې په یوه کوچني ځای کې زیرمه کول ممکن دي. د دننه او بهر کارولو لپاره بېلابېل ډولونه شتون لري.

- Unique Properties
- A minimal sofa that is easy to assemble without the use of screws or nails. Original interlocking assembly system that allows you to assemble and disassemble a 3 seater sofa whenever you need it.

- Design Challenge
- In addition to the conception of the interlocking system, the concept of Cinque is to demonstrate that it is possible to reduce the use of plastic and hardware for the creation of large-volume furniture.
- Research
- The aim of the project is to create a sofa that can be disassembled and reassembled without the aid of tools and hardware, eliminating the plastic in the packaging and that is recyclable. The Cinque sofa is available in both indoor and outdoor versions where it finds its maximum functionality: when in the winter the sofa has no reason to be used outdoors, it can easily be disassembled and put away, taking up minimal space.
- Inspiration
- In my removals, the sofa was the most difficult and complex piece of furniture to move. Remembering the Legos I had as a child, I wanted to make this object light, removable and not bulky.
- Project Duration
- The initial project was born in 2013 for a design competition. Exhibited at the Fuori Salone del Mobile in Milan in the same year and at the Italian Cultural Institute in Vienna on the occasion of the Design Week. It was reborn in 2021 in collaboration with a local carpentry.
- Operation Flow
- The sofa, static and bulky furniture, becomes transportable. It can be disassembled and reassembled as often as desired without the need for tools.
