About Vague Banqueta sem Encosto

Vague é uma banqueta sem encosto formada por curvas estruturais contínuas. Cada ângulo de observação revela uma composição harmoniosa diferente. Vague é feita de tubos de aço com 5/16 de polegada de diâmetro, moldados por dobramento e unidos por soldagem. A superfície recebe pintura eletrostática ou acabamento com revestimento de cobre. As dimensões são 400 mm de largura, 390 mm de profundidade e 420 mm de altura. As curvas foram inspiradas nas ondulações de uma gota d'água caindo em um rio e na estrutura das folhas. Vague pode ser utilizada como assento ou como objeto decorativo.

Unique Properties: Vague is a de-constructed stool with structural curves which form its shape. An astonishing piece of furniture, for every different angle from which it is seen reveals a harmonious composition.

The metal-cast stools bring out the poetry of what was the sketch inception; lines previously drawn morph into tubes and highlight the environment as a ready-to-enjoy object of art.

Production Technology: Vague uses as material steel tubes with 5/16 inch diameter and the production is made by bending and welding (TIG type).
After that, it receives an electrostatic paint or a copper coating finish.
Design Challenge: The hardest part of creating Vague was the cad 3d modeling.
Several studies have been done to achieve the perfect shape.
Research: Vague was inspired by nature, combining the structure of the leaves with the rising curves of a water droplet falling into a river, where a perfect, vibrant and continuous ripple takes shape.

The piece’s visual lightness embraces only the bare essential for its purpose, and that inspiration stemmed from carefully observing nature’s wisdom.
Project Duration: Vague was designed in São Paulo on April 2020 and has been produced in southern Brazil since August.
Operation Flow: Vague can be used as a simple stool but also as a piece of art, as its beauty creates a great highlight on environments.
