Sobre Iceland Volcano Museu

O Iceland Volcano é um museu situado na região de Myvatn, na Islândia. A forma circular inspira-se nas crateras vulcânicas, nas fontes termais e nos lagos da região. Um volume elíptico e duas rampas que se cruzam criam um espaço contínuo que liga as áreas interiores e exteriores. São propostos três percursos em anel: uma galeria interior, uma cobertura pedonal utilizada como miradouro e um trilho circular no parque exterior com esculturas de grande escala. Um espelho de água ocupa o centro. A fachada é formada por lâminas cuja orientação varia de modo a controlar a luz solar.

Dimensões e Embalagem: The Iceland Volcano Museum features a seamless ring of exhibition and office spaces surrounding a meditative reflecting pool. The design comprises three ring paths: an interior gallery for contemplation and artwork, an exterior walkable roof that serves as an observation deck, and an outdoor park loop trail showcasing large-scale sculptures and site-specific commissions.

Our design emphasizes sustainability and materials that resonate with the environment, resulting in a unique, engaging space that showcases Myvatn's beauty.
