O Design

Traditional reclining chairs with limited function cannot perfectly fit the physiological characteristics of the older group and might quickly cause discomfort. It cannot provide practical rising assistance for older users who have difficulty sitting and standing up.
Inspiração: It is inspired by Chinese calligraphy, which is popular among older people. Calligraphers transform the form of Chinese characters into a unique artistic language through techniques such as ink, organisation and stroke, and give lines a unique vitality and strong emotions. Therefore, the designers deconstructed the calligraphy and extracted the lines from it, introducing them into the appearance of the reclining chair, realising a clever combination of traditional art and modern furniture.
