Lagos é uma mesa de jantar concebida para salas de jantar e outros espaços partilhados. O design recorre a linhas limpas e a formas geométricas bem definidas para obter uma aparência minimalista. A base em madeira apresenta um acabamento texturado que evoca o cimento, associando referências naturais e urbanas. A forma da base pode variar, desde estruturas tradicionais até interpretações mais escultóricas. A mesa mede 310 centímetros de largura, 80 centímetros de altura e 120 centímetros de profundidade, oferecendo amplo espaço para os convidados. A madeira certificada e os acabamentos em metal e betão contribuem para a durabilidade no uso diário.

Unique Properties: The design of the Lagos dining table is characterized by a minimalist aesthetic, with clean lines and well-defined geometric shapes. Victor Leite focuses on creating pieces that are visually impactful, but also maintain a simplicity that allows for easy integration into different environments. The Lagos table is designed to be a focal point in dining rooms, with a base that can vary in terms of shapes, from more traditional structures to more sculptural and innovative interpretations.

Design Challenge: One of the main challenges was finding a perfect balance between the desired aesthetics and functionality. Leite wanted to create a table that was not only beautiful but also practical for everyday use. The design of the base, for example, needed to be visually interesting without compromising the stability of the table. To overcome this obstacle, several prototypes and stability tests were necessary, which led to adjustments in the proportions and materials used.
Research: The design research of Victor Leite's Lagos table began with the analysis of the needs of users and market trends. Inspired by natural landscapes, Leite sketched several ideas, exploring shapes and materials. With prototypes, stability and functionality were tested, adjusting details as needed. The choice of materials, such as wood and metal, and the use of laser cutting technology have ensured a final product that combines aesthetics and durability, creating a functional and elegant piece.
Inspiration: The Lagos Dining Table was inspired by the desire to blend natural elements with modern design. Its wooden base, featuring a textured finish reminiscent of cement, strikes a balance between nature and urban aesthetics. Designed for both style and functionality, it provides ample space and comfort for guests, making it ideal for those who seek a distinctive touch of elegance and practicality in their dining space.
