About Breezes of Sunshine Design de Interiores Residencial

Breezes of Sunshine é um projeto de design de interiores residencial para uma casa de dois pisos com 429,75 metros quadrados em Taipé, Taiwan. A planta original foi reconfigurada, a estrutura foi reforçada e foi acrescentada impermeabilização. A escada foi remodelada dentro da estrutura existente, de modo que a luz natural possa alcançar áreas anteriormente escuras. Janelas de piso a teto e portas de correr no segundo pavimento abrem o interior para as vistas exteriores. A área de jantar utiliza painéis Fenix azuis, que possuem baixa refletividade e resistem a impressões digitais. Lâminas de madeira maciça e mármore foram escolhidos como materiais naturais.

Unique Properties: The large floor-to-ceiling windows invite the outdoor scenery inside, enriching the visual experience of the home. The reimagined staircase not only connects various areas but also introduces abundant natural light, enhancing the overall ambiance. The attention to detail and integration of artistic and cultural elements creates a unique charm that complements the family's lifestyle, fostering a harmonious interplay between people and space.

Production Technology: The staircase was reimagined within the existing structure to transform its shape, allowing light to penetrate and dispel the previously dark areas. On the second floor, sliding doors are combined with floor-to-ceiling windows, enhancing the sense of openness. The dining area features blue Fenix panels, known for their low reflectivity, fingerprint resistance, and soft. Committed to environmental sustainability, using natural, non-polluting materials such as solid wood veneers and marble.
Design Challenge: One of the primary challenges was introducing natural light into the space by removing existing glass windows. Due to the building's height, this was a complex task requiring careful planning and execution while to reinforce the structural integrity of the walls, adding safety enhancements to the old building. The structural columns in the first-floor living room not only support the floor above but also, through thoughtful lighting design, symbolize the family’s emotional pillars.
Research: This project involves a 10-year, two-story residence spanning 430sqm. The original layout featured numerous partitions that did not align with the client’s needs and suffered from occasional water leakage issues. Addressed these challenges by reconfiguring the layout and flow, reinforcing the structure, rewiring, implementing waterproofing solutions, and redesigning the windows, elevating the quality of life and creating a fresh new look for the home.
Inspiration: The client envisions a life filled with beauty and comfort, emphasizing the importance of creating cohesive public spaces that serve as a hub for family bonding. They seek a home where children can grow and learn, while elders can enjoy a comfortable and enriching environment. The goal is to craft a living space that combines functionality and aesthetics, blending natural and cultural elements to depict an enchanting lifestyle.
Project Duration: The project finished in February 2023 in Taipei, Taiwan.
Operation Flow: The design centers around creating an open and comfortable living environment that seamlessly integrates natural light and outdoor views. It aims to connect different areas of the home while fostering a sense of togetherness for the family. Incorporating elements of music, art, and literature, the design embraces a minimalist and understated approach, using light and shadow to craft a distinctive, poetic ambiance. Drawing inspiration from the local surroundings, the home becomes a tranquil retreat amidst the urban hustle, where large windows open to reveal a serene, stress-free sanctuary, an ideal place for relaxation and a leisurely idyll.
