About Punto Maçaneta de Porta
Punto é uma maçaneta concebida para portas de uso diário. A forma do Punto resulta de uma investigação sobre maçanetas históricas e as suas formas. As proporções seguem uma razão constante de um para dois, e essa relação articula todas as geometrias da maçaneta. O Punto mede 150 por 60 por 50 milímetros. A maçaneta é produzida por fundição injetada em alumínio ou em latão. As versões em alumínio recebem pintura a pó, enquanto as versões em latão são polidas ou cromadas. A forma simplificada ajuda o utilizador a perceber imediatamente como a porta se abre.

- Unique Properties
- the form of the handle in addition to being inspired by the "type" of the handle highlights a very important formal relationship, the geometries and the relationship between the parties are always like ½. the result is unique is almost a mathematical function where with this resulting form the elements that generate it can only be used. report 1/2 has given a good inspiration

- the handle is made in die-cast aluminum or brass molding, in the case of aluminum it is powder coated and enl brass case is cleaned / polished or chrome

- a good result of the project is when the reading by the user is clear, for example a handle must read itself as an object that opens the door and it must be clear how it works. the simplification elaborated on this topic has in my opinion had a very good result

- my design language is based on the search for the essential and in this case the objective has been centered
- Inspiration
- the punto handle comes from a very apprfonded research on historical handles and their shapes.
many handles have been analyzed which have had a big formal significance within the development of this item and after attentive sedimentation and overlapping of such shapes i have been able to take the shape of the point.
this handle seems always existed in his being and it is just this the goal i was looking for: obtaining a classic form not starting from the classic but from development and a game o - Project Duration
