So I chose laurel leaves, which come from the story. I also decided on a moon element, considered a symbol of love in China, to integrate both elements to create this piece of jewelry.
T'aqwiy: This piece of jewelry expresses the theme of beauty and faith through the love story of Daphne, the Laurel Nymph of Greek mythology. Because it is not well known in China, it is necessary to present the story in a suitable way to make this design understandable to Chinese audiences. Kallpachay: Design inspiration came from the love story, Daphne turned into a laurel tree, expressing beauty and faith in herself. One of the design elements is a laurel leaf, set with diamonds, which whirl around the center stone, just like the moment when Daphne turns into a laurel tree.

When it comes to love, it is naturally associated with the moon in China. Moon has been a symbol of love since ancient times, so another design element is the moon. They were integrated to create this piece of jewelry.
