Tusa Hospital nisqaqa Istanbul llaqtapi ñawpaq kaq hampina wasita llapanta musuqchanapaq ukhu allichay ruway kaqmi. Llapan pataykuna musuq disiñu riqsichiyman hina musuqchasqa karqan, hawa hampikuq wasikunata, nak'ay wasikunata, unquqkunap puñuna wasikunatawan. Samachikuq llampu llimp'ikunam pachamamamanta apamusqa imakunawan huñusqa karqan q'uñi muyuriqta ruwanapaq, chaywanpas kunan pacha wasi ruway rimayqa waqaychasqa karqan. Unique Properties: Tusa Hospital project is a complete renewal of an existing hospital in Istanbul. All floors of the hospital, including the outpatient clinics, operating rooms, and patient rooms, were renovated in line with the newly established design identity. Through this new identity, the hospital was distinguished from other hospitals in the region, aiming to become a more reliable, calming, and preferred healthcare environment.

Design Challenge: One of the main challenges during the design process was accurately analyzing the patient profile and developing a concept that would respond to their needs. At the same time, it was important to communicate—through the design language—the value the hospital places on its patients and its intention to improve their comfort and the quality of service. This was achieved by creating a spatial atmosphere that expresses care and attention without overwhelming the users.
Inspiration: A clean and cosy design approach was adopted during concept process. The primary aim was to design a hospital environment where patients feel at home. In contrast to conventional hospital interiors, calming pastel tones were combined with natural materials to create a warm and soothing atmosphere while preserving a contemporary architectural language.
