The premise had a depth of 40 m and had a height of 10 m. To solve the problem, I carefully thought about approach, external structure plan, retaining as ground underground parking lot of RC structure, and wooden house above the parking. I challenged to adjust its appearance and balance from the road below.

- Inspiration
- The client played twirling around this hill long ago and grew up in this premises where looking over one of Japanese famous mountains called Tanzawasan. When the designer heard the story, he thought about the housing design that the client can feel nostalgic on the site. That is a wooden house with a large garden and can be settled down to live. The garden referred to the original landscape where the client grew up. And the designer used traditional construction finishing material it reminds the client the home where he lived in a long time ago.
