About Irises Inel

Irises este un inel dublu inspirat dintr-o pictură de Vincent van Gogh. Pictura înfățișează flori albastre cu frunze lungi, în formă de sabie. În inel, florile sunt reprezentate prin safir albastru și prin topaz London și topaz albastru cer, în timp ce aurul sculptat formează frunzele în mișcare. Inelul este realizat manual din aur de 18 karate, cu finisaj mat și montură cu gheare. Piesa este ușoară și confortabilă la purtare. Intenția este de a aduce culorile și formele naturii și ale picturii într-un obiect purtabil.

Unique Properties: Van Gogh’s irises have blue flowers with sword shaped leaves that are long and laminar. The flowers are represented in this double ring by sapphires and topazes while the sculptured gold conveys the leaves in their movement. The double ring is both comfortable and stunning!

Handmade, matte finish and prong setting
Design Challenge: During the search for the idealized materials, some types of gemstones were not located and some cut formats were unavailable. The acquisition of gemstones in other formats and types was carried out and a new design was performed adapting to the materials found.
Research: After extensive research on Van Gogh's paintings (there are almost 2000 works), the painting was chosen that would be the inspiration for the design. Then research was carried out on the painted tree (understanding of what the painter saw to be inspired). Realized the ideal design of the piece and choice of the ideal materials for execution.
