About Hexa Plus Vatră de foc
Hexa Plus este o vatră de foc concepută pentru grădini și spații exterioare. Forma hexagonală este potrivită pentru un grup de șase până la zece persoane adunate în jurul focului. Designul combină un vas de foc cu o plită de gătit și un grătar care poate fi așezat la două înălțimi. Plita este realizată din tablă de oțel de 10 mm pentru o încălzire uniformă și o bună inerție termică. Un suport ține un cazan deasupra focului, iar un logo decupat pe lateralul rezervorului furnizează aer pentru combustie. Picioarele reglabile mențin produsul stabil și la nivel. Corpul este realizat din tablă tăiată cu laser, care este îndoită, sudată și acoperită cu vopsea electrostatică.

- Hexa is a multifunctional garden product that can be used in any season with an innovative design, meant to take the experience of cooking and socializing outdoors to another level. Bending and welding of the sheet - Design Challenge
- The most difficult part was to be able to homogenize all the functions that the Hexa + firepit currently has and to identify the best option, considering functional and aesthetic features and cost optimization.
- Research
- The vision was to create a multifunctional and practical product. The material from which the product is used restores the resistance of the product over time, the maintenance or rehabilitation of the product being easy, during use. Another advantage is that it is a perfect material for cooking, evenly heating the surface of the grill, hob, etc.
The tub, which is used for campfires or as a heater on cold days or evenings, is a solution to protect green spaces. - Inspiration
- The concept of this product was inspired by modern design stealth trends, having as main feature the pronounced edges, which gives the product strength, power and masculinity.
The hexagonal shape was chosen as the optimal surface for a number between 6-10 people who can enjoy socializing around a fire or for the outdoor cooking experience, by the side of multifunctional product.
The design of the grill lid is inspired by the shape of a diamond. - Project Duration
- This project started in November 2019 and the final version of this product was launched in the summer of 2020. The design of this product is 100% Romanian and its production was carried out in Cluj County, Romania.
- Operation Flow
- The grill is designed to prepare food and is made of 3mm sheet metal and steel, guaranteeing a high resistance over time. The grill holder and the tub are also made of 3 mm sheet metal. The grill pan is made of 10 mm steel sheet. The legs of the grill pan are made of 3 mm thick sheet, protected with paint in the electrostatic field.
