About Experience Design of Chime Instalație de Proiecție Interactivă

Proiectarea Experienței pentru Chime este o instalație de proiecție interactivă destinată expozițiilor muzeale. Instalația combină tehnologia de proiecție cu chime-ul, un instrument muzical tradițional chinezesc, astfel încât vizitatorii pot lovi instrumentul și, în același timp, pot explora cunoștințe culturale. Imaginile intermitente pot fi selectate, iar o aureolă luminoasă de pe chime ghidează vizitatorii printr-o melodie. Pictogramele din meniu conduc către interfețe suplimentare, cum ar fi o secțiune de istorie în care steaguri și caractere dezvăluie texte. Componentele hardware includ proiectoare, radare, computere și difuzoare. Proiecția are dimensiunile de 90 pe 258 de centimetri.

Unique Properties: This design is called the intelligent interactive experience design of Chime. The designer combines interactive projection technology with traditional Chinese musical instruments, chimes, so that the audience can strike the chimes and at the same time explore some cultural knowledge independently. Different from the conventional exhibition of cultural relics, this non-mandatory and entertaining way of exhibition can renew the vitality of classical culture.

Production Technology: The hardware of the design includes projectors, radars, computers, and speakers.
Design Challenge: Designers encountered two main difficulties. One is the design of the graphic content and how to make it acceptable to the public; the other is the realization of technology and hardware, and how to build the entire interactive system.
Research: The crowds in the museum are diverse, and it is very difficult to meet everyone's viewing needs at the same time, which requires the introduction of interactive design. Set up information levels for the exhibition and classify the interface to meet the general needs of different groups of people. Each level has more information and audiences can explore independently. This method of interweaving the old and the new can not only protect the cultural relics, but also bring people closer to the cultural relics and renew the vitality of classical culture.
Inspiration: First of all, I have been paying attention to interactive projection and music interactive wall for a long time.When I visit museums, as we all know, a lot of objects are placed in glass cases, and there is a lack of interaction between them and the audience. When I saw the chimes, I wanted to hit them and listen to their sound, but the situation was absolutely not allowed, which gave me an opportunity to ask myself, why not combine the interactive projection with that？
Project Duration: The project was launched at Hefei University of Technology in Anhui, China in February 2021, completed in June of the same year, and exhibited in mid-June.
Operation Flow: In the entire system, all flashing images can be clicked, including the aperture on the chime, the menu bar, various small images of each interface, and so on. The aperture on the chime guides the audience to play a melody. After clicking the icon in the menu bar, the icon will light up briefly, and then it will transition to the next interface. For example, in the history interface, flashing flags and characters can be clicked. After clicking, they will glow, and then text will appear.
