About Clip Scaun de tip Lounge
Clip este un scaun de tip lounge conceput atât pentru spații exterioare, cât și interioare. Forma sa se inspiră dintr-o agrafă de hârtie, oferind scaunului un aspect ușor și jucăuș. Cadrul din oțel, în formă de agrafă, se flexează în funcție de greutatea utilizatorului, îmbunătățind confortul la șezut. O tijă metalică curbată la nivelul șezutului formează o buclă care poate ține obiecte mici. Scaunul este realizat din oțel prin îndoire, sudură, sablare și vopsire în câmp electrostatic. Utilizarea unui singur material simplifică procesul de producție și facilitează reciclarea.

- Unique Properties
- The chair features a unique clip-like structure that dynamically adjusts to the user's weight, resulting in an enhanced sitting experience. The seat's curved metal rod cleverly forms a loop, offering a handy storage option for small items.

- Production Technology
- Material: Steel. This design's production process involves four steps: bending metal pipes, welding, sandblasting, and powder coating. Despite its simplicity, these steps yield a visually striking piece of furniture that boasts both an artistic appearance and a relatively low production cost and difficulty. Also, the recycling process is significantly simplified, with only one material used throughout the chair's design.
- Design Challenge
- When creating the final prototype, it proved challenging to accurately determine the twisting angle and length of the steel rods for the backrest and seat portion. The calculations did not match the computer simulation precisely, making adjustments a significant obstacle to overcome.
- Research
- During the design process, a key consideration for me was how to make furniture more playful. Taking inspiration from the shapes of traditional outdoor chairs and everyday objects found in daily life, I created a form that strikes a balance between elegance and whimsy. The resulting design appears refined and delicate, yet also playful and lighthearted.

- The Clip Chair is a versatile seating option that seamlessly transitions from outdoor to indoor environments. The design of this chair bears a resemblance to a paper clip, lending it a playful and whimsical aesthetic.
