Smarty este o aplicație de tastatură cu inteligență artificială pentru smartphone-uri. Funcționând ca o tastatură virtuală, Smarty pune la dispoziție un asistent de inteligență artificială în interiorul fiecărei aplicații. Personajele încorporate pot parafraza text, completa propoziții, scrie răspunsuri și genera conținut nou pe baza instrucțiunilor utilizatorului. Fiecare casetă de introducere devine o sesiune de chat îmbogățită cu context din lumea reală. Equipped with built in AI personas, Smarty excels in paraphrasing, completing, replying, and generating new content in response to user instructions through its AI chat bot.

Yet, its accessibility remains basic, with users having to actively engage on the chatbot's website and manually transfer responses, creating a less-than-ideal experience. Recognizing this, there's a need for more seamless approaches to enhance AI chatbot accessibility for smoother user interactions.

- Smarty simplifies the question and answer process by analyzing the user's context through features such as reading clipboard content and screenshots, all done on-demand to prioritize privacy. This ensures that users do not have to write context every time they consult the chatbot, providing a more streamlined and efficient interaction with AI.
- Inspiration
- Smarty tackles a pivotal challenge in AI chatbots by integrating them into a keyboard. Despite AI chatbots being powerful assistants, their current interface is primitive. Users currently lack context, needing to explain scenarios, pose questions, and manually transfer responses, resulting in a disrupted flow. Smarty introduces a context aware interface, enhancing and streamlining interactions.
- Project Duration
- The project was started in April 2023 and finished the current state in January 2024. The app is in constant iteration and ongoing updates will introduce additional content.

- Smarty's versatility makes it an invaluable tool for a myriad of uses. Users can employ Smarty to politely reject text messages, negotiate rent with landlords through emails, compose captions for social media posts, and even simplify the explanation of medical reports into everyday language. Additionally, Smarty's capabilities extend to reading various types of links, including webpages, tweets, YouTube videos, or podcast episodes.
