About Worry-free Garden Световая инсталляция

«Беззаботный сад» — световая инсталляция, созданная для публичного фестиваля света в Пэнху, Тайвань. Инсталляция воссоздаёт подводную сцену с кораллами, морскими травами и морскими желудями. Каждая форма выполнена в технике объёмного вязания из хлопковой пряжи. Управляемая светодиодная подсветка меняет цвет и ритм, благодаря чему кораллы предстают в множестве оттенков. Размеры работы — 680 на 390 на 290 сантиметров. Скульптуры служат смысловыми доминантами площадки и используются посетителями как места для фотографий. Цель проекта — показать богатство океанической экосистемы.

Production Technology: This work uses three dimensional weaving to present the shapes of corals, seagrass and barnacles; they are the biggest features of this work. Various changes are produced by the rhythm of the light.

Inspiration: The work was exhibited on the island of Taiwan. This place has the most beautiful bay in the world. In an event called "Island Paradise", this work aims to present the most gorgeous coral world in the ocean. It uses designer weaving expertise to present dreamy and pure images through lighting. This is the worry-free garden.
