О дизайне PeriO Циркуль для черчения

PeriO — это многофункциональный циркуль, предназначенный для построения окружностей, дуг и прямых линий. Радиус задаётся перемещением двух ножек и отображается на центральном диске. Силиконовый держатель в средней части подходит для пишущих принадлежностей разного диаметра. Вращение колёсиков позволяет измерять длину проведённой линии и величину угла дуги. Когда угол между двумя ножками составляет 180 градусов, проводимая линия становится прямой. Центральный диск может вращаться, благодаря чему окружности вычерчиваются плавно. Корпус выполнен из алюминия для снижения веса, а необходимость в остром игольчатом наконечнике отсутствует.

For this challenge, we studied the relevant mathematical formulas. We made some 3D models for testing to ensure the models can draw a circle smoothly and verify the feasibility.

Inspired by the perimeter circle command in Solidworks, we conducted key research and formula deduction on the principle of how three points determine a circle.

In addition, the disc in the middle can be rotated to make the process of drawing a circle smoother. The displayed number is always positive for the user to identify easily.
