Unique Properties: · Smooth and simple folding process: Users can easily fold it into a cat house without the need for any tools or generating waste paper.
· Maximizing physical space design: The swing cover extends the top space of the cat house, maximizing its utilization. The open-door design makes the cat house more spacious.
· Sturdy structure design: The innovative double ear lock structure design at the top greatly enhances the stability of the cat house, accommodating the jumping behavior of cats.
· Exterior design with cat attributes: The design of the cat house is inspired by houses and cat elements such as ears and paws, the adorable appearance enhances the happiness of users and cats.

Production Technology: Through innovative structural design, the packaging logistics box can be conveniently folded into a beautiful and strong interesting cat house, realizing multi-functional product packaging and reusing waste cartons.
Design Challenge: There is a type of cat house cardboard box available for sale on Chinese e-commerce platforms, but Meow does not want to increase the shopping cost for consumers. Following the principle of practicality, Meow aims to transform logistics boxes into cat houses through low-cost innovations. To achieve this goal, the designers have considered commercial costs, product load-bearing capacity, and the ability for mass production. On top of that, they have also managed to balance aesthetics and environmental friendliness for a better consumer experience.
Research: The consumption of logistics transportation packaging is enormous in modern life and often leads to the disposal of used boxes. The design team aims to provide an opportunity for the secondary use of logistics boxes after transportation through low-cost innovative design and reduce the disposal of logistics boxes.
Inspiration: The design takes inspiration from the features of cats, while the overall spatial design is inspired by human house structures. By transforming logistics boxes into spaces for cats to rest and play, it creates a warm and cozy shopping experience for consumers while providing cats with an additional entertainment space.
Project Duration: The project started in April 2023 in Hangzhou and finished in May 2023 in Hangzhou, and successfully being implemented for logistics transportation in the cat litter industry.
Operation Flow: This is a multi-functional logistics box that can be used as both a logistics box and a cat house.
In its logistics box state, it is used for packaging and transporting goods, similar to a regular packaging box. Once the package is received, it can be easily opened with a tear strip.
After removing the goods, it can be manually folded following the corresponding folding lines to transform into a cat house for cats to rest.
The entire process is easy and enjoyable.
