About Coastline Umumeza

Coastline ni umumeza wahimbwe ushingiye ku kuzamuka kw'amazi y'inyanja biterwa n'ubushyuhe bw'isi bwiyongera. Igice cyo hejuru cy'umumeza gikozwe muri acrylic, izwi kandi nka PMMA, kandi gishushanywa hifashishijwe ubushyuhe bukabije kugira ngo hagaragazwe amazi y'inyanja asukuye. Inyubako ishyigikira umumeza ikozwe mu giti cya michelia compressa n'umuvumo, kandi ubwo bwoko bw'ibiti bugereranya uburebure bw'imisozi. Ibiti bikomeye byahiswemo kugira ngo inyubako itagoreke igihe cy'ubushyuhe. Impera zidasa neza z'umumeza zibutsa inkombe z'inyanja zangiritse n'amazi, naho guhuza ibi bikoresho bituma umucyo unyura mu tugari twinshi. Umumeza ufite ubugari bwa milimetero 350, uburebure bwa milimetero 650, n'ubuhagarike bwa milimetero 500.

Coastline Umumeza ni uwegukanye Igihembo cya A' Design Award cy'icyuma, ishimwe ry'agaciro ritangwa ku bishushanyo byiza bihuza ibyo umwuga n'inganda bikeneye ku bihangano byashushanyijwe neza. Abegukanye icyuma bagaragaza ubuhanga bukomeye, ubumenyi bwihariye, imyumvire y'inzobere n'ubushobozi bwo guhanga bw'ababikoze. Coastline Umumeza biteganyijwe ko izaba igihangano cyubahwa, gishimwa kandi gikundwa, gifatika kandi gifite udushya. Iki gishushanyo cyegukanye icyuma gihuza uburyo bwiza bukoreshwa mu nganda kandi gifite ibiranga bya tekiniki bifite ubushobozi, bifatanye n'ubumenyi n'impano. Coastline Umumeza yubahwa kubera gukora neza, kandi yashushanyijwe kugira ngo inoze ubuzima, ifashe gutuma isi iba nziza.

Unique Properties: The clearness of the sea is represented by liquid acrylic, and the height of the mountain is mainly wood, creating a combination of different materials that echoes the light of the layers.

Production Technology: The table top is mainly made of PMMA, and the table is mainly made of michelia compressa and Pine.
Design Challenge: Liquid acrylic material is selected as the table top. Liquid acrylic shaping requires high-temperature heating. Therefore, hard wood is selected so that it will not deform during heating.
Considering the above, in the end, the desktop wood is chosen to use the hard texture Michelia compressa wood.
Liquid acrylic color grading is also one of the big challenges. It takes a lot of time for each test to get the best color and transmittance.
Inspiration: Taking the rising sea level caused by global warming as the starting point, the coastline was eroded by the seawater and showed an uneven appearance, making the table more layered.
Project Duration: The project started in January 2017 in Taiwan. And finished in June 2017 in Taiwan. And was exhibited in Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in June 2017. For the second time in Taipei Pavilion of fashion in November 2019.
Operation Flow: This is a table with good light transmission and beauty.
