About Carbon Dashboard Porogaramu ya Mudasobwa Ngendanwa

Carbon Dashboard ni porogaramu ya mudasobwa ngendanwa igaragaza ibipimo by'imyuka ya karubone ku giti cyawe. Ibipimo (algorithms) bibara imyuka ya buri munsi ukurikije amakuru y'ibyo umuntu akoresha n'inzira z'ingendo ze. Iyi porogaramu ishyira mu byiciro imyuka hakurikijwe aho ikomoka, bityo abakoresha bakabona kumenya ni izihe ngeso za buri munsi zitanga imyuka nyinshi ya karubone kandi bakabishobora kubigenzura. Uburyo bwo gushyira abantu ku rutonde mu buryo bw'imibanire (social ranking) bugereranya imyuka hagati y'abakoresha bari hafi, bigatera inkunga yo kongera kugabanya iyo myuka. Carbon Dashboard yakorewe ibikoresho bya iOS kandi ihuza n'ingano zitandukanye z'amashusho. Intego ni ugukemura ikibazo cyo kugabanya imyuka ya karubone mu baturage no kurengera ibidukikije.

Carbon Dashboard Porogaramu ya Mudasobwa Ngendanwa ni uwegukanye Igihembo cya A' Design Award cy'icyuma, ishimwe ry'agaciro ritangwa ku bishushanyo byiza bihuza ibyo umwuga n'inganda bikeneye ku bihangano byashushanyijwe neza. Abegukanye icyuma bagaragaza ubuhanga bukomeye, ubumenyi bwihariye, imyumvire y'inzobere n'ubushobozi bwo guhanga bw'ababikoze. Carbon Dashboard Porogaramu ya Mudasobwa Ngendanwa biteganyijwe ko izaba igihangano cyubahwa, gishimwa kandi gikundwa, gifatika kandi gifite udushya. Unique Properties: Carbon dashboard is an application for visualizing personal carbon emissions data. This app uses algorithms to calculate daily carbon emissions based on individual consumption and action routes. By visualizing carbon emissions to change users' high carbon consumption behavior, the aim is to reduce carbon emissions of the general public and protect the environment.
Dimensions & Packaging: The app is designed for iOS platforms, fitting various screen sizes. Referring to the submitted entry the design is made for iPhone 11 Pro Max. Screen Size 1242px x 2688px and Resolution 458 PPI.

Production Technology: This app uses algorithms to calculate daily carbon emissions based on individual consumption and action routes.
Design Challenge: Our challenge lies mainly in the algorithm for the transformation between carbon emissions and consumption behavior data. We hope that this transformation of data will give users a clearer understanding of the environmental impact of their individual behavior.
Research: Our research in this project focused on changing people's behavior through visualization, and we did a lot of research and user interviews to develop a prototype interface for Carbon dashboard.
Inspiration: I want to construct a translational relationship between consumption behaviour and carbon emissions, and to visualize this as a reminder to reduce high carbon emission behaviour.
Project Duration: The project started in September 2020 and finished in May 2021 in China.
Operation Flow: By recording personal consumption behavior, Carbon dashboard transforms consumption data into a visualization of carbon emissions, categorizing the sources of carbon emissions and enabling users to gain a more precise understanding of the high carbon emissions in their lives and to control them. By socially ranking the carbon emissions around them, users are stimulated to reduce their carbon emissions as much as possible.
