The device functions using minimal energy, relying on the water pressure from your shower.
Ikibazo cy'Ishusho: The biggest challenge was designing the mouthpiece to be both comfortable and effective with the water stream technology. I used myself as a test subject, experimenting with different shapes and looking at mouthguard designs for inspiration. I also prototyped various designs using 3D printing to test the fit and comfort. The goal was to create a mouthpiece that allowed the water to reach all areas of the mouth without discomfort or splashing, ensuring a smooth and effective flossing experience.
Ubushakashatsi: Type of Research: Design research with an emphasis on user behavior and product functionality
