About Ryo Intebe y'amaboko

Ryo ni intebe y'amaboko yakozwe nk'ishusho imwe ikomeza idacagaguwe. Imikubo yayo ihera ku ntebe ikagera ku mugongo, igakora uruziga rudahagarara. Iri gishushanyo ryatangiye ku kibazo cyo kumenya niba igikoresho cy'imbere mu nzu gisanzwe cyafata ishusho yisanzuye kurushaho. Ubuso bugoranye bufite ibipimo bitatu bwari bugoye gukorwa, kandi bwagezweho hakoreshejwe umwenda unanuka. Iyi ntebe y'amaboko ifite milimetero 725 z'ubugari, milimetero 730 z'uburebure bujya imbere, na milimetero 800 z'uburebure bujya hejuru. Igikonoshwa cyagoramye gikikira umuntu uyicayeho kandi cyongera ku mwanya ikintu gisa n'igishushanyo mbonera.

Ryo Intebe y'amaboko ni uwegukanye Igihembo cya A' Design Award cya Buronze, ishimwe ry'agaciro gakomeye ritangwa ku bishushanyo by'indashyikirwa birangwa no guhanga, ubwenge n'ubushishozi. Abegukanye Buronze ni ibihangano bifite ubuhanga bwinshi kandi bihanga cyane, bishimangira uburambe, ubwenge n'ubushobozi bw'ababihanze. Ryo Intebe y'amaboko biteganyijwe ko izaba ikintu cyubahwa, gishimwa kandi gikundwa, gifite ubunyamwuga n'udushya. Iki gishushanyo cyegukanye Buronze gikoresha uburyo bwiza mu buhanzi, ubumenyi, ubushushanyo n'ikoranabuhanga kandi kirarenze mu gutaha ku tuntu duto. Production Technology: Creating the shape of the tertiary surface proved extremely challenging. It was achieved by employing stretch fabric.
Design Challenge: Expressing the form of the cubic surface and realising it while utilising the engineers' skills proved extremely challenging. Through repeated discussions, we continued to seek the correct solution until completion was achieved.
Inspiration: This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the armchair in a freer form? The idea expanded from the seat to back, the undulations creates an uninterrupted loop.

Project Duration: The project started in Apr. 2020 in Tokyo and finished in Jan. 2021 in Tokyo, and was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in June 2022.
Operation Flow: This unique chair, which adorns the space, envelops those who sit upon it. It promises an experience unlike any other.
