Dcl ni intebe ikozwe yose mu mbaho z'ubudehe bukomeye cyane (high density fiberboard). Buri gice cyayo gikatwa hakoreshejwe imashini ya CNC router. Iyi ntebe isigwa irangi ry'ibara rimwe ryerurutse, kandi hashobora gukoreshwa ibara iryo ari ryo ryose. Iyo urebye Dcl uri kure, isa nk'igice cy'urukiramende rw'ibara rimwe aho kuba intebe. Iri gishushanyo rikurikiza ubushakashatsi ku ntebe bwakozwe n'umwubatsi n'umushushanyi w'umutaliyani Cesare Leonardi, bwagumye ari icyitegererezo cy'igiti kandi ntibwigeze bukorwa mu buryo bw'umusaruro. Dcl Intebe ni uwegukanye Igihembo cya A' Design Award cy'icyuma, ishimwe ry'agaciro ritangwa ku bishushanyo byiza bihuza ibyo umwuga n'inganda bikeneye ku bihangano byashushanyijwe neza. Abegukanye icyuma bagaragaza ubuhanga bukomeye, ubumenyi bwihariye, imyumvire y'inzobere n'ubushobozi bwo guhanga bw'ababikoze. Dcl Intebe biteganyijwe ko izaba igihangano cyubahwa, gishimwa kandi gikundwa, gifatika kandi gifite udushya. Iki gishushanyo cyegukanye icyuma gihuza uburyo bwiza bukoreshwa mu nganda kandi gifite ibiranga bya tekiniki bifite ubushobozi, bifatanye n'ubumenyi n'impano. Dcl Intebe yubahwa kubera gukora neza, kandi yashushanyijwe kugira ngo inoze ubuzima, ifashe gutuma isi iba nziza.

Ibintu Bidasanzwe: It's a chair made entirely of HDF and painted with a bright solid color - any color - and looks like, when spotted, almost not a chair but a sort of a cubic block of solid massive color.

Ikibazo cy'Ishusho: In this particular case, there was not "a hardest part of design", which is very rare in any of my designs.
Ubushakashatsi: I simply found in the internet a photo of one interesting study of chair made by the Italian architect and designer Cesare Leonardi. Since Leonardi's chair was not developed nor produced, I thought I could "devevelop it, as I was a Leonardi's team member, and started make a model of of it, changing material, changing form and proportions and making it in a more logic way, seaching for a better proportion and confort for a chair of plain HDF (Leonardi's chair was made of solid wood). The result: my chair is very basic, more logic than Leonardi's; my chair is a concept chair. DCL means Dopo Cesare Leonardi (After Cesare Leonardi).
Ibyatumye Habaho: My inspiration was a chair study made by Cesare Leonardi, an Italian architect and designer. Leonardi's chair was nothing more than a wooden model and was not developed nor produced.
Igihe cy'Umushinga: The project started in May 2025 in São Paulo and finished in October 2025.
