About Molten High बहुतलीयं आवासीयं भवनम्
"मोल्टेन हाई" इति नाम बहुतलीयं आवासीयं भवनं भारतस्य उष्णे शुष्के च नगरे स्थितम्, यत्र मृत्पात्रकला पारम्परिकः व्यवसायः आसीत्। एतत् संरचनाकल्पनं निर्माणकाले विकृतस्य पश्चात् पक्वस्य मृत्पात्रस्य स्मरणं करोति। पैरामेट्रिक-त्वचा दक्षिणपश्चिमदिशि स्थितं सोपानमार्गं आच्छादयति, सोपानेषु छानितं प्रकाशं वातायनं च आनयति, तथा च गवाक्षाणां बालकनीनां च सरलश्रेण्या सह वैषम्यं रचयति। भवनाग्रभागस्य द्रवीभूतः आकारः विशेषरूपेण निर्मितैः पुनर्चक्रितप्लास्टिकनिर्मितपसलिकाभिः रचितः। भवनस्य आयामः विन्यासे विंशति-चतुर्मीटर-परिमितः, उन्नतिः च पञ्चाशत्-मीटर-पर्यन्तं गच्छति।

- Unique Properties
- A parametric skin on the southwest staircase to bring in filtered light and ventilation as a contrasting character to the simple and refined array of window and balconies.

- Custom made Recycled plastic ribs to for the molten look of the facade.
- Design Challenge
- The traditional profession of the locality was pottery which needed to be interpreted and magnified to an international podium.
- Research
- The site context was studied to come up with the concept of the design. The pottery art of this town was to be highlighted in a modern contemporary manner to communicate to the international audience.
- Inspiration
- The Residential Building is in the city of a hot and dry Tier 2 Town of India where pottery used to be a traditional profession. Molten High is an expression of a clay container being deformed while in its making and eventually baked to form an artistic expression of the traditional profession of the town.,
- Project Duration
- The project is under construction at site. The design phase started in July 2020 and was delivered by Jan 2021

- the staircase has been designed with an external skin to allow light and ventilation into the staircase.
