About Osia Villa आवासीय आंतरिक अभिकल्पना
ओसिया-विला इति २८०० वर्गमीटर-भूखण्डे स्थितं शालिक्षेत्रावलोकनसमन्वितं निजनिवासगृहम् अस्ति। अभिकल्पना अन्तः-बहिः क्षेत्रयोः सम्बन्धं स्थापयति, आश्रयस्य भूदृश्यस्य च मध्ये सीमां धूमिलां करोति। द्वे वातायनवेदिके विलां चिह्नितः कुरुतः - प्रातराशार्थं विन्यस्ता पूर्वदिशीया वेदिका, तथा द्वितीयतले सान्ध्यसम्मेलनार्थं उपयुज्यमाना पश्चिमदिशीया वेदिका। मनोरञ्जनतले स्थिता लतामण्डपोपवेशनक्षेत्रं विद्यमानतुलादण्डजालेन समर्थितम् अस्ति, यत् अस्तमानसूर्यस्य दृश्यानि परिवेष्टयति। सामग्रयः स्थानीयरूपेण संगृहीताः, भूपृष्ठे च त्यक्तग्रेनाइट-खण्डानाम् उपयोगः कृतः।

- Unique Properties
- A private property overlooking paddy farms spread over 28,000 Sqft of land. The design intends to marry the inside and outside blurring the boundaries of a sheltered home.

- Production Technology
- The materials were sourced locally. The entire pavement for the villa was done in waste granite pieces.
- Design Challenge
- The challenge was to execute the pergola on first floor which was eventually supported by existing beam grid.
- Research
- The site location was a major inspiration for carving out spaces into the built structure. The pergola seating on the recreational floor was carved to create a sundowner spot.
- Inspiration
- The wide views of setting sun over the paddy fields is the main inspiration to form the private deck on the entertainment floor with a perfect balance of indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Project Duration
- The project started in Feb 2017 and was completed by March 2019
- Operation Flow
- The design was made in Mumbai and all drawings sent to site to execute locally with regular interval site visits to check the progress.
