ब्ला ब्ला एकं समसामयिकं सेरिफ्-अक्षररूपम् अस्ति यत् उग्र-शिल्पकला-प्ररूपैः प्रेरितम्, वृहत्-विवृत-अन्तराल-युक्तम्, वक्र-वृत्ताकार-रूपैश्च समन्वितम्, येन आधुनिकः सौन्दर्यमयश्च अक्षर-सङ्घः निर्मितः। मृदु-पुनरावृत्तिभिः सह जैव-वक्राणि सशक्तानि सुसङ्गतानि च रूपाणि सृजन्ति। शैली-संपन्नं आधुनिकं कुलम् इति परिकल्पितम् इदं संप्रेषणस्य वाणिज्य-चिह्न-निर्माणस्य च प्रकल्पानां कृते पूर्णतया समीचीनम् अस्ति। प्रत्येकं गुरुत्व-स्तरं सप्तशतोऽधिकान् लिपि-चिह्नान् शैली-युक्त-अक्षर-सङ्ख्या-समुच्चयैः वैकल्पिक-लिपि-चिह्नैः विवेकाधीन-संलग्नाक्षरैश्च सह अन्तर्भवति।

- Unique Properties
- Bla Bla is a contemporary serif typeface inspired by brutalist forms, featuring large open counters, and curved, round forms, creating a modern & elegant glyph set. The organic curves with gentle repetitions create powerful and harmonious forms. Designed to be a stylish modern family it is perfect for communication and branding projects.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The typeface is available in TTF, OTf and WOFF formats and printed on newsprint in CMYK

- Production Technology
- The typeface was first hand drawn and developed in Glyphs.
- Design Challenge
- The challenge was to develop something completely new ad brutalism is more synonymous with sans fonts, so developing a new language and approach to a stylist serif typeface.
- Research
- One of the hardest parts of the design was translating architecture into a serif typeface. Through the study of sections and observations of light and shadow upon building structures we were able to identify forms that developed the shapes of the serif.
- Inspiration
- The inspiration for the typeface is in brutalist forms. Taking that inspiration from the ideas of architectural forms and developing it into a serif typeface, using forms and a mathematical grid.
