री इति भाप-स्नान-गृहस्य आन्तरिक-रचना शान्त-विश्रामस्थानरूपेण निर्मिता अस्ति। इयं रचना "शिन्कान्" इति जापानी-शब्दं आधृत्य कृता, यस्यार्थः गभीरं मौनम् इति भवति। रचनायाः विन्यासस्य वस्तु-चयनस्य च मुख्यं लक्ष्यं ध्वनिः एव। विभाजक-भित्तयः अट्टालिकापर्यन्तं विस्तारिताः, भित्तीनां मध्ये च ध्वनि-निरोधक-द्रव्यं स्थापितं वर्तते, येन कोलाहलः न्यूनीभवति। सर्वाणि आवरण-पृष्ठानि विषमानि सन्ति, यत् प्रतिध्वनितं ध्वनिं मृदुं करोति। प्रकाश-व्यवस्था प्राकृतिक-सूर्यप्रकाशस्य दिशां, तीव्रतां, वर्ण-तापमानं च अनुसरति। परिणामतः एतत् शान्तं स्थानं निर्मितं भवति, यत् वर्धमान-वनस्य मौनं स्मारयति।

- Unique Properties
- Japanese word “shinkan” means “deep stillness” and it expresses a way of falling into a complete silence. Therefore, we focused our design on the sound and created a sauna space where one can relax in a tranquil environment.To achieve this, partition walls were extended to the attic and uneven finish materials were used. We also used lighting that corresponded in direction, intensity, and color.
