About Jane संवलनीयदूरभाषसंवरणम्
जेन-नामिका एषा संवरण-रचना संवलनीय-चलदूरभाषस्य कृते निर्मिता अस्ति। इयं रचना वंशपत्रिकाः (बाम्बू) तथा काष्ठपट्टिकाः, प्राचीन-चीनदेशीय-पुस्तकाकारं, आधारीकृत्य निर्मिता, पारम्परिक-चीनी-लिपिरूपाणि च उपयुज्यते। संवरणपात्रं सम्पूर्णतया विशिष्ट-कागदेन निर्मितं, यस्य काष्ठ-वस्त्र-सदृशं पृष्ठं वर्तते, प्लास्टिक-अन्य-द्रव्य-रहितं च। उपयोगकर्तृ-निर्देशिका बाह्य-पृष्ठं परिवेष्टयति, चुम्बकैः स्वस्थाने स्थिरा भवति। निर्देशिका पृथक्कृत्य संवलिता (रोलिता) कर्तुं शक्यते। पात्रं पट्टिकया उद्घाट्यते, अन्तः वस्तूनि पृथक्-स्तरेषु व्यवस्थितानि सन्ति। संवरणस्य मापः १९८ × १९२ × ४७ मिलिमीटर् अस्ति।

- Unique Properties
- Ancient Chinese fonts and traditional book forms, now combine with the latest technology products. Completely paper-based packaging without other materials especially plastic will lead the environmental protection. The user manual is not only covered on packaging surface but also can be detached and rolled up. The wooden and fabric texture will give the packaging more sense of ceremony.

- The packaging is made by special paper with wood and fabric texture, the user manual can cover the box or be rolled by magnets

- Consider deplasticization is the trend of packaging, using paper as a moving part is challenging of solidity and flatness, requires special paper with strength and rich effects
- Research
- Foldable, rotatable, liftable, multiple structural methods are used in product design. As an extension, packaging designers also need to have corresponding solutions to respond
- Inspiration
- Foldable structure is a new tendency of electronic products, more and more of which will adopt this form because of the improvement of screen and hardware. ‘Jane’ is an ancient Chinese book form-Bamboo and wooden slips. The rolling and unrolling structure references at the characteristics of the ancient Chinese book and modern foldable phones. The combination of traditional culture and the advanced technology will be a unique design experience.

- The project started in July 2019 in China and finished in December 2019
- Operation Flow
- Removable user manual with wood texture wrapped around the surface of box by magnets, after opening the box with tap, products will be arranged in different layers.
