Unique Properties
Bumpy vase plays with contrasts. High quality meet rough glass shards that look as ornaments when placed on the rim of the vessel. Calm Scandinavian color palette brings harmony to the studio made vessels that are inspired by the textures of melting ice. The concept of the design is to flirt with organic shapes and poetic glass medium.
Dimensions & Packaging
Bumpy vases are blown by mouth and shaped by hand. The vessels are blown by glass studio craftsmen from Poland.

Design Challenge
The design challenge was to create harmonious vessel from rough material. Vases highlight the broken glass sharts in a way that brings out their natural beauty and charm. The project aims to create the shape simple enough that leaves room to the Scandinavian aesthetics.
Research
The design challenge was to use broken glass sharts as ornaments and create harmonious shape that fits in every interior. The ornamental rim with glass charts must also be carefully created by the craftsmen so that it is durable for everyday use and also elegant as an ornament.
Inspiration
The origin of the design process was to create interior vessels from bumpy glass. The design aims to create timeless beauty from blown glass material.
Project Duration
Project started in September 2020. The Bumpy collection was launched in 2021 by DutZ Collection
