- Production Technology
- The work is made of ceramic mould casting technique. Fired to 1250℃.
- Design Challenge
- The main difficulty in the development of the project was the deformation of the ceramic material. In solving this, I used a high temperature firing and low temperature glaze firing method for extremely deformable forms. The pieces are brazed with alumina during the high temperature firing process and then glazed for a third firing after shaping.
- Research
- Type of research: applied research, Research Objectives: tableware, Methodology: computer-aided design, Data collection: market research and questionnaires, Experiment: perception of the use of the piece, Results: the design in its shape makes the consumer more eager to buy and the meal experience becomes relaxed and enjoyable.
- Inspiration
- Dining times are often warm and beautiful, and a pleasant set of tableware can make the real thing more delicious. Tableware is the coat of food, so tableware design should not be noisy, but should be quiet and modest.
- Project Duration
- Started in June 2022 and finished in August.
- Operation Flow
- The work serves everyday life and is an expression of refined living and joie de vivre.
