- Unique Properties
- This project redefines workplace environments by integrating modular design, matrix inspired spatial rhythm, and emotionally engaging materials. It replaces rigid corporate boundaries with an open, human centered system that merges research, commerce, and public life, forming a culturally rooted, flexible urban space.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- Total area: 20000 square meters. Key components include central linkage axis, dual atria, open lobbies, modular ceilings, sintered stone flooring, and WELL certified office modules. Smart systems and exposed MEP allow long term adaptability and operational flexibility in public commercial integration.

- Production Technology
- Sintered stone is used in ultra wide seamless flooring, walls, and counters, offering durability and tactile comfort. Custom perforated metal ceilings, matte brushed finishes, and lighting integrated signage unify spatial quality. Precision installation ensures minimalist surfaces and modular adaptability.
- Design Challenge
- The challenge was to unify diverse functions without visual fragmentation. Internally, the team had to balance aesthetics and serviceability. Externally, unfamiliarity with sintered stone and modular logic demanded new construction methods and education. The solution was a layered design validated through multi perspective analysis.
- Research
- Research focused on redefining workplace space in urban renewal. Methods included case studies, spatial simulations, and material prototyping. Tools involved BIM and full scale mockups. Participants included developers, operators, and material experts. Results confirmed modularity, visual unity, and emotional engagement as key to public value and longevity.
- Inspiration
- The design is inspired by spatial rhythm, multi perspective circulation, and the "matrix" concept, reflecting a need to humanize urban office environments. Drawing from architecture, landscape, and art, the team developed a coherent spatial DNA to counteract over commercialization, enhancing both functionality and emotional value.
- Project Duration
- The project started in January 2021 in Zhejiang, China and finished in June 2024.
- Operation Flow
- The layout encourages user exploration through rhythmic transitions and intuitive zoning. Public areas, offices, and event spaces flow along a central axis. Transparent boundaries and adaptive modules allow users to navigate with ease while engaging emotionally with the materials, light, and texture.
