The brilliancy of this split-level glass structure lies in the suppleness of ambience lighting; its coziness is always attracting visitors and external light intensity change will not hinder ample lighting for reading.” Visitors comment.
Detailed effort has lavishly drained into preciseness and appropriateness in selecting the right kind and number of lighting utensils, theirs light intensity and the angles of beams. A combination of skills, creativity and experiences. The application of Confucius philosophy: be moderate. No more, no less. Besides, various skills are used to hold up direct sunlight and other strong light source in order to built-in a subtle and tranquil atmosphere. Therefore, external weather condition will not overwhelming the interior lighting.
Entrusting the museum’s ambience, this dramatic treatment catches the eyes for interesting ornaments: the giant snowman, the cat and the plant shades. Senses arouse.

Constraints are that the external glass structure gives rise to the aesthetic issue in providing electricity for lighting, supple lighting covering the spacious and non-partitioned three split levels construction and budget constraint that banned the usage of dimming system which caused the difficulties on balanced of light intensity. Also, the project is mounting the accent light inside the 60mmx55mm height steel rod, the custom made fixture to achieve the hierarchy effect perfectly for aim of high transparency purpose. In order to fulfill the dual goals, a sales office and later as a library. The common key point is coziness: a place which one will lingers. The fixtures and furnishings are from the physical world, while mood and tone will dive deep to tickle our soul. The magic spell for this connection is "Light".
This creates the sense of being connected to the external world while enjoying the serenity and revitalizes our interests to explore. A state of Zen.

As in Hemingway’s “A Clean, Well-Lighted Place”, there is always a place for the hustle-and-bustle people to catch up with serenity. The way that revives flagging city spirits.
