About Coastline ٽيبل
ڪوسٽ لائن هڪ ٽيبل آهي جيڪا گلوبل وارمنگ سبب وڌندڙ سامونڊي سطح مان متاثر ٿي ٺاهي وئي آهي. ٽيبل جي مٿاڇري اِيڪريلڪ مان ٺاهي وئي آهي، جنهن کي PMMA به چيو وڃي ٿو، ۽ اُن کي مٿاهين گرمي پد تي گرم ڪري اهڙي شڪل ڏني وئي آهي جو اهو صاف سامونڊي پاڻي جو تاثر پيدا ڪري. سهاري واري بناوت مِيچيليا ڪمپريسا ۽ صنوبر جي ڪاٺ مان ٺاهي وئي آهي، جيڪا جبلن جي بلندي جي علامت آهي. سخت ڪاٺ اِن ڪري چونڊي وئي ته جيئن گرم ڪرڻ دوران بناوت جي شڪل خراب نه ٿئي. ڪنارن جي اڻ برابر بناوت سمنڊ جي ڪٽاءَ سبب ٺهيل ڪوسٽ لائن جي ياد ڏياري ٿي، ۽ مادن جو ميلاپ روشني کي پرتن ۾ لنگهڻ جي اجازت ڏئي ٿو. ٽيبل جي ماپ 350 مليمीٽر ويڪر، 650 مليمीٽر کوٽائي ۽ 500 مليمीٽر اوچائي آهي.

- Unique Properties
- The clearness of the sea is represented by liquid acrylic, and the height of the mountain is mainly wood, creating a combination of different materials that echoes the light of the layers.

- Production Technology
- The table top is mainly made of PMMA, and the table is mainly made of michelia compressa and Pine.
- Design Challenge
- Liquid acrylic material is selected as the table top. Liquid acrylic shaping requires high-temperature heating. Therefore, hard wood is selected so that it will not deform during heating.
Considering the above, in the end, the desktop wood is chosen to use the hard texture Michelia compressa wood.
Liquid acrylic color grading is also one of the big challenges. It takes a lot of time for each test to get the best color and transmittance. - Inspiration
- Taking the rising sea level caused by global warming as the starting point, the coastline was eroded by the seawater and showed an uneven appearance, making the table more layered.
- Project Duration
- The project started in January 2017 in Taiwan. And finished in June 2017 in Taiwan. And was exhibited in Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in June 2017. For the second time in Taipei Pavilion of fashion in November 2019.
- Operation Flow
- This is a table with good light transmission and beauty.
