گمنام سماج هڪ سماجي تنقيدي ڊيزائن جو منصوبو آهي. هن منصوبي ۾. يان يان هڪ غير موجود ڳجهي تنظيم ٺاهي جنهن جو نالو Anonymousociety آهي. گمنام سماج هڪ محفوظ گھر ٺاهڻ چاهي ٿو جتي ماڻهو اسپاٽ لائٽس کان لڪائي سگهن ٿا، ڌيان کان فرار ٿي سگهن ٿا، ۽ پاڻ کي ڇڏي ڏيو. ھن پروجيڪٽ کي ٺاھڻ وقت، يان يان گمنام سماج جي وجود کي دستاويز ڪرڻ لاءِ ھڪ ٺڳيءَ وارو نقطو استعمال ڪري رھيو ھو. ڊزائن جي ڪم جي هن سيريز ۾ شامل آهي هڪ فين جي ٺاهيل ويب سائيٽ، هڪ ميگزين، هدايتن جو هڪ سيٽ ۽ فلائر وغيره.

Anonymousociety سماجي تنقيدي ڊيزائن A' Design Award لوهه انعام جو کٽيندڙ آهي، معزز اعتراف جيڪو انهن سٺين ڊيزائنن کي ڏنو وڃي ٿو جيڪي چڱيءَ طرح ڊزائين ڪيل تخليقن کان متوقع پيشه ورانه ۽ صنعتي گهرجون پوريون ڪن ٿيون. لوهه جا کٽيندڙ پنهنجي خالقن جي وڏي مهارت، اعليٰ ماهري، ماهرانه سمجھ ۽ تخليقي صلاحيت ڏيکارين ٿا. - Anonymousociety is a social critique design project. In this project. Yan Yan created a non-existent secret organization named Anonymousociety. Anonymousociety wants to create a safe house where people can hide from the spotlights, escape from the attention, and let go of themselves. While creating this project, she was using a mockumentary-perspective to document the existence of Anonymousociety. This series of design works include a fan-made website, a magazine, a set of instructions and flyers etc.

- The main challenge for the designer is to develop her creative thinking methodology. After about half of a year's learning and testing, she understood herself more and found a way of thinking and making.

- This project started with some moments Yan Yan had been through. Who is the real me? Is it the one shown under people’s eyes, or the one hidden away from people’s gaze? Am I shaped by other people's gaze, or am I shaped by myself? People now live in a world that's overly exposed to social media, reality TV shows, and YouTube. Society forces people to unwillingly expose themselves, regardless of whether they are in public or in private.
