GAAHK افتتاحي تقريب هانگ ڪانگ جي گرافڪ آرٽس ائسوسيئيشن جي ويهين افتتاحي تقريب لاءِ ٺاهيل هڪ اهم بصري ڊزائن آهي. هي بصري ڊجيٽل مس مس جي انڪ ملاوت تي ٻڌل آهي، جيڪا سؤ کان وڌيڪ ڀيرا ورجائي وئي آهي ته جيئن مثبت ۽ منفي جاءِ جي هڪ متوازن ترڪيب حاصل ٿي سگهي. تصوير هڪ ڪاريگر جي عڪاسي ڪري ٿي جيڪو ڇپائي جي ڪم لاءِ روشن رنگن کي ملائي ٿو. ڊزائن کي ڊجيٽل پس منظر، هڪ سائن بورڊ، هڪ برائشر، هڪ دعوت نامي ڪارڊ، هڪ يادگار ۽ هڪ ماسڪ تي ترتيب ڏنو ويو آهي. برائشر جي ڪور ۾ چاندي ۽ سون جي فوئل سان اسپاٽ الٽراوائيلٽ ڪوٽنگ استعمال ڪئي وئي آهي، جيئن سطح کي هٿ سان محسوس ڪري سگهجي.

Unique Properties: Through capturing the magical moment of an artisan who is mixing various vivid colors to create masterpiece of print works, design signifies the Art of Fusing between professional designers and experienced print makers - co-creating a new form of object of desire. We never know the end result and that is why we keep trying. The key visuals design of the 20th Inauguration Ceremony of Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong is based on the manipulation of mixing ink digitally over hundred times. We see beautiful one not simply by our eyes, but with our hearts.

Production Technology: The brochure was printed by MGI Digital Technology (Konica Minolta) in order to offer special effects (including spot UV coating, thick layers of silver and gold foils) on brochure cover so that people could even feel its deep reflection, embossing and golden effect with hands. The advantage of digital printing is that the quantity could even be a little and thus the cover design could be in a series of color variant.
Design Challenge: Designer has been tested out more than hundred times in order to capture the magical and poetic moment where the digital ink could form in harmonious state of art - offering the best composition in terms of positive and negative spaces that could be easily adapted in many areas including mask and sizable backdrop and digital ads. Designer could not imagine the perfect composition until it came to appear on the screen after a long period of trial.
Research: Designer tried to challenge the common mind set that design should be well-planned and carefully considered in all matters - seems that there should be a formula to do design. In fact, the most exciting thing is that design should be highly original, expect the unexpected, unique and moved.
Inspiration: This project is an invitation project that covers a wide range of adaptation, including digital backdrop, sign board, brochure, invitation card, souvenir and mask.Through capturing the magical moment of an artisan who is mixing various vivid colors to create masterpiece of print works. The present design signifies the Art of Fusing between visual designers and experienced print makers - co-creating a new form of object of desire using colors and foils (digital prints). We never know the end result and that is why we keep trying each time.
Project Duration: The project duration lasts for three months. This is a commercial project in Hong Kong.
Operation Flow: Starting the design by trial and error, mixing physical ink and then imitating through digital medium. Designer did not know which methods of design could reach its optimum composition and design until it came to reality. A lot of trials are not successful due to messy presentation and unpleasant look and feel.
