About Otsuchi ٽيبل لائيٽ

اوتسوچي هڪ ٽيبل لئمپ آهي جيڪو جاپان جي ايواتي صوبي جي اوتسوچي شهر مان حاصل ڪيل هرڻ جي چمڙي مان ٺاهيو ويو آهي. هي شهر 2011 جي عظيم اوڀر جاپان زلزلي جي ڪري آيل سونامي جو شڪار ٿيو هو. بعد ۾ هرڻن جو تعداد وڌڻ ۽ رهاڪن جو تعداد گهٽجڻ سبب مقامي فصلن کي نقصان پهتو. مقامي شڪارين آفت طور شڪار ڪيل هرڻن کي ڪم آڻڻ لاءِ گيم ميٽ جو ڪاروبار شروع ڪيو. هي لئمپ 3D پرنٽ ٿيل ڍانچي مان ٺهيل آهي جنهن کي هرڻ جي چمڙي سان ڍڪيو ويو آهي، ۽ ان جي بناوت هڪ جيئري جانور جي شڪل جي ياد ڏياري ٿي. هي ڊزائين هرڻ جي زندگيءَ جو احترام ڪري ٿي ۽ هڪ پُرسڪون موجودگي پيش ڪري ٿي.

Unique Properties: This table lamp exists
in the space between design and art.
It resembles a light fixture, yet also conveys the vitality of an animal.
Its texture evokes the breath of a living deer.
Dimensions & Packaging: w255 x d320 x h345mm

Production Technology: Crafted from 3D printed structure coverd by deer leather.
Inspiration: The Table lamp is made from a deer leather captured in Otsuchi, Iwate, Japan. Otsuchi was destroyed by the devastating tsunami caused by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.
Our crop has been damaged due to a significant increase in number of deer, while the population of local residents declined. Local hunters started
the Gibier business to carry on the life of a deer that was hunted as vermin. This lamp was created in a hope to carry on deer's life and create a feeling of peace to the user.
Project Duration: The project started in Apr. 2023 in Otsuchi, Iwate and finished in Jan, and was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in June 2024.
Operation Flow: This table lamp conveys an organic, animalistic impression to people,
and also gives a wild impression.
This lamp, which makes you feel the vitality of a deer that once lived,
gives people the warmth of life.
