About Line Rings මුද්ද

Line Rings යනු පැළඳින්නා සහ ආභරණය අතර අන්තර්ක්‍රියාව ඉස්මතු කිරීම සඳහා නිර්මාණය කරන ලද මුදු නවයකින් සමන්විත එකතුවකි. එක් එක් මුද්ද තුළ ඇති චලනය කළ හැකි ගෝලයක් ධාවන පථයක් ඔස්සේ ලිස්සා යමින්, ශබ්දය, කම්පනය සහ භ්‍රමණය හරහා ප්‍රතිපෝෂණය ලබා දෙයි. මෙම එකතුව සඳහා ප්‍රේරණය ලැබුණේ අභිරහස් මාවත (labyrinth) සහ ජ්‍යාමිතික ගෘහ නිර්මාණ ශිල්පයෙනි. බහු-ඛණ්ඩ ව්‍යුහයන් ගෝලය සඳහා විවිධ මාර්ග නිර්මාණය කරයි. මෙම මුදු ත්‍රිමාණ මුද්‍රණය සහ රිදී ආලේපනය සහිත පිත්තලෙන් ඉටි වාත්තු ක්‍රමය (lost wax casting) මගින් නිෂ්පාදනය කරනු ලැබේ. එක් එක් මුද්දෙහි ප්‍රමාණය ආසන්න වශයෙන් සෙන්ටිමීටර 4 x 4 x 4 කි.

Line Rings මුද්ද යනු A' Design Award රිදී සම්මානය දිනූ නිර්මාණයකි; ඉහළම පෙළේ, සුන්දර සහ ආකර්ශනීය නිර්මාණ සඳහා පිරිනමන අසාමාන්‍ය ලෙස ගෞරවනීය පිළිගැනීමකි. රිදී ජයග්‍රාහී නිර්මාණ අතිශය දීප්තිමත් සහ ඉතා නිර්මාණශීලී කෘති වන අතර නිර්මාණකරුවන්ගේ විශිෂ්ට විශේෂඥතාව, දක්ෂතාව සහ සියුම් බුද්ධිය පෙන්වයි. Line Rings මුද්ද විස්මයජනක, ආදර්ශවත්, ඉතා වෘත්තීය සහ ගැඹුරින් නවීන කෘතියක් වනු ඇතැයි අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ. Unique Properties: This project is a collection of nine rings that are designed to highlight the interaction between wearer and jewelry. The moveable sphere inside the ring provides feedback to the wearer through sounds, vibration, and rotation.
Dimensions & Packaging: Approximately 4*4*4 cm each

Production Technology: 3D Printing; Lost Wax Casting; Brass; Silver Plating
Design Challenge: Precious measuring. After experimenting with different 3D printed materials, I limit the thickness of the wire to 1.2mm, with a 6mm gap in between the rail to ensure the sphere flow constantly in the ring. It is hard to calculate the measurement in a 3D form.
Inspiration: The Line Collection was inspired by the labyrinth and geometric architectures. The moveable sphere inside slides in various directions along the track, while diverse multi-segment structures bring greater possibilities to the trajectory of the ball. I utilized 3D CAD techniques to bring precision and higher complexity in creating perfect line construction in small scale rings.
Project Duration: The project started in September 2019 in Savannah, GA, and finished in March 2020.
