About Ungrey පුද්ගලික මහල් නිවාස අභ්‍යන්තර නිර්මාණය
Ungrey යනු මුම්බායි නගරයේ පිහිටි වර්ග මීටර් 200ක් පමණ වූ අභ්‍යන්තර ඉඩකඩක් සහිත පුද්ගලික මහල් නිවාසයකි. වර්ණ කුට්ටි කිරීම (Colour Blocking) මෙහි ප්‍රධාන නිර්මාණාත්මක ලක්ෂණය වන අතර, එය බිත්ති සහ බිම් ආවරණය පුරා අඛණ්ඩව යොදා ඇත. පවතින මතුපිට ඔප දමා විවිධ වර්ණවලින් යුත් මයික්‍රෝ-සිමෙන්ති (micro-cement) ආලේපනයකින් ආවරණය කරන ලද අතර, පසුව ආරක්ෂිත තට්ටුවකින් අවසන් කරන ලදී. ආලේපනයට පෙර, සැලසුම් අනුගමනය කිරීම සඳහා සියලුම හැඩතල ස්ථානයේදීම සලකුණු කරන ලදී. බාර් ඒකකය සහ ක්‍රෙඩන්සාව (credenza) කර්මාන්තශාලාවක නිෂ්පාදනය කරන ලදී. මෙම අභ්‍යන්තර නිර්මාණය සාමාන්‍ය අළු පැහැති නිවෙසක් වෙනුවට ආදේශ වන අතර, එය කලා කෘතියක් ලෙස අත්විඳීම සඳහා අභිප්‍රේත වේ. මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සම්පූර්ණ කිරීමට මාස අටක කාලයක් ගතවිය.

- Unique Properties
- The space is designed with colour blocking as the main design feature which required working on the existing flooring and walls with microcement layer.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The apartment in about 200 Sq M

- The space was marked with all sorts of forms and colours and proper colour blocking was done to continue on walls and floor.
- Design Challenge
- The main challenge was to polish the existing floor to make it adhesive to microcement. achieving right colours was a major task. The bar unit and credenza unit was factory made.
- Research
- The microcement was studied and understood with various samples and colours.
- Inspiration
- The client expressed that they wanted to not live any more in a standard GREY house which is the general trending design language and wanted to live in an artwork of a space.
- Project Duration
- The project was completed in 8 months
- Operation Flow
- The space was cleaned and marking was done for all proposed forms to ensure all design was executed as per drawings. The micro-cement layer was coated in various colours and later polished with a protective coating.
