The Floating Ribbon කාර්යාල අභ්‍යන්තර සැලසුම පිළිබඳව
ෆ්ලෝටින්ග් රිබන් යනු මහාද්වීප පහක වරාය මෙහෙයුම් කටයුතු සිදු කරන සමාගමක ප්‍රධාන කාර්යාල කළමනාකරණ මධ්‍යස්ථානය ලෙස නිර්මාණය කරන ලද කාර්යාල අභ්‍යන්තර සැලසුමකි. මෙම වැඩකරන ස්ථානය දිය අද්දර පිහිටි රේඛීය ගබඩා ගොඩනැගිල්ලක ස්ථානගත වී ඇති අතර, එහිදී කණ්ඩායම් පහක් එකම විවෘත සැලසුමක් බෙදාගනී. ෆ්ලෝටින්ග් රිබන් නමින් හැඳින්වෙන විශාල වක්‍ර සීලිං අංගය, පොදු ප්‍රදේශ සමගාමී කරමින් කණ්ඩායම් එකිනෙකට සම්බන්ධ කරයි. විවෘත සීලිම, පොදු අවකාශයන් උඩින් නාවික නිල් පැහැයෙන් සහ වැඩ කරන කලාප උඩින් තද අළු පැහැයෙන් ස්ප්‍රේ පින්තාරු කර ඇත. ගෘහ භාණ්ඩ, කේන්ද්‍රීය කුළුණු පේළිය සමඟ ඒකාබද්ධ කර ඇත.

The Floating Ribbon කාර්යාල අභ්‍යන්තර සැලසුම යනු A' Design Award ලෝකඩ සම්මානය දිනූ නිර්මාණයකි; නිර්මාණශීලිත්වය, දක්ෂතාව සහ තීක්ෂ්ණ බුද්ධියෙන් කැපී පෙනෙන විශිෂ්ට නිර්මාණ සඳහා පිරිනමන අතිශය ගෞරවනීය පිළිගැනීමකි. ලෝකඩ ජයග්‍රාහී නිර්මාණ ප්‍රමාණවත් ලෙස දක්ෂ සහ කැපී පෙනෙන ලෙස නිර්මාණශීලී කෘති වන අතර නිර්මාණකරුවන්ගේ පුළුල් අත්දැකීම්, පරිකල්පනය සහ සම්පත්දායකත්වය තහවුරු කරයි. The Floating Ribbon කාර්යාල අභ්‍යන්තර සැලසුම ඉහළින් අගය කරන, ප්‍රශංසා කරන සහ ආදරය කරන දෙයක් වනු ඇතැයි අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ, කැපී පෙනෙන ලෙස වෘත්තීය සහ නවීන. - The space is for a HQ management hub to operate worldwide ports globally in 5 continents. The design brings 5 teams co-sharing a warehouse linear space organically under a Floating Ribbon. Acted as a spatial definition, it unifies all communal spaces & links teams strategically together. The design encourages teammates sharing ideas and fosters collaborations all times. In Post COVID-pandemic, the strong identity gives communal space a pivotal role in the rebuild-up of teammates' relationship.

- The Ribbon well defines the Public and Work Zones by having the open ceiling spray-painted into two colors - navy blue for the continuous communal spaces and dark grey for the generic work space, identity further enhanced.
Office furniture at each communal space are made in bold soften geometry and well-integrated on existing central row of columns. On one hand, each furniture floats at its own spaces and serves for its designated function, responding to the Floating Ribbon above. On the other hand, the design plays down the physical presence of the row of columns located at centre of the entire office space, and alters their perception from bulky volumes into functional spaces. - නිර්මාණ අභියෝගය

- Located by the waterfront in a warehouse building, the design responses to the brief having five teams co-sharing the industrial rectilinear space under one unique grand Floating Ribbon ceiling, of its form reflecting the Port business and its ocean culture. Instead of departmental organisation in traditional offices, the design turns it into a collaborative open plan, unifying multiple communal lounges into one continuous organic space so as to foster daily interaction and creativities.

- ක්‍රියාකාරී ප්‍රවාහය
- Work place design concerns more about well-being, socialisation and life-balance, rather than purely efficiency and quantities. Epidemic prevention policy and business lockdown have alter drastically the need and scale of communal spaces in the city as well as in commercial office. These conditions and social distancing generate huge need to develop more safer indoor spaces for daily lunch, online meetings with collaborators and socialisation with each other. The organic Ribbon space is responded well under the current global environment. The pandemic reduces the city mobility locally and globally, however it won't limit creativity and social desires in daily living and work
The design is a mix of the contemporary commercial aesthetic and the industrial mood inherited from terminal ports, which reflect well the culture of the international global company. - බලපත්‍ර
