About Pluto කාර්ය ලාම්පුව
ප්ලූටෝ ශෛලිය කෙරෙහි දැඩි අවධානයක් යොමු කරයි. එහි සංයුක්ත, වායුගතික සිලින්ඩරය කෝණික ත්‍රිකෝණාකාර පදනමක් මත පිහිටා ඇති අලංකාර හසුරුවකින් කක්ෂගත කර ඇති අතර එහි මෘදු-නමුත් නාභිගත වූ ආලෝකය නිරවද්‍යතාවයෙන් ස්ථානගත කිරීම පහසු කරයි. එහි ස්වරූපය දුරේක්ෂවලින් ආනුභාව ලත් නමුත් ඒ වෙනුවට එය තාරකා වෙනුවට පෘථිවිය කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කිරීමට උත්සාහ කරයි. ඉරිඟු මත පදනම් වූ ප්ලාස්ටික් භාවිතා කරමින් 3d මුද්‍රණයෙන් සාදන ලද එය කාර්මික ආකාරයකින් 3d මුද්‍රණ යන්ත්‍ර භාවිතා කිරීම සඳහා පමණක් නොව පරිසර හිතකාමී වේ.

- Pluto keeps the focus firmly on style. Its compact, aerodynamic cylinder is orbited by an elegant handle perched over an angled tripod base, making it easier to position with precision.
Pluto is designed for the office, study or bedroom, with soft-but-focused light that is perfect for writers, illustrators or anyone who is particular about where-and-how their light source meets their working surface. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Production Technology
- Pluto was manufactured by Gantri, a company based in San Francisco. It utilizes corn-based plastics. Making it not only innovative, for using 3d printers in a industrial fashion, but also very eco-friendly.
- Design Challenge
- In order to make the design viable for FDM 3d Printing, we had to test out and split it into various interconnecting pieces that were later assembled together to form the final product.
- Research
- We worked on developing a complex form, full of negative space while still facilitating the printing and assembly process.
- Inspiration
- Pluto was inspired by telescopes, which use tripods and dynamic but stable forms. But instead, I sought to design a light that focuses on the earth instead of the stars.
- Project Duration
- The project started as an individual project from March to the end of June 2018 and was developed alongside Gantri's engineering from July 2018 to January of 2019.
- Operation Flow
- Pluto is equipped with a dimmable LED bulb that is regulated by a switch attached to its power cord. The amount of light being cast can be controlled to the user's preference.
