کورل ہک ہتھ دی بݨائی گئی چائے دانی ہے جو سمندری مونگوں دیاں پیچیدہ شکلاں تے بناوٹاں کنوں متاثر تھی کے بݨائی گئی ہے۔ ہک ای ہینڈل چائے دانی کوں ہر پاسوں پکڑݨ دی اجازت ڈیندا ہے، اُتوں، کھٻے پاسوں یا سݘے پاسوں، جو مختلف ثقافتاں دے چائے دانی پکڑݨ دے کئی طریقیاں کوں ظاہر کریندا ہے۔ ٻاڈی دے پچھلے پاسے ہک کھڈا چائے دانی کوں چوٹی مار کے کھڑا کرݨ دی اجازت ڈیندا ہے۔ ڈھکݨے دا ڈیزائن ہینڈل نال جڑت تھیا ہویا ہے، تاں جو لکیراں ساری شکل دے آل دوالے وہندیاں ہن۔ کورل کوائل نال بݨائی گئی، تبدیل تھئی ہوئی، تراشی گئی تے بناوٹ آلی مٹی دے برتن نال بݨی ہوئی ہے، جیندے تے شینو گلیز دا فنش کیتا ہویا ہے تے آکسیڈیشن وچ پکائی گئی ہے۔

- Unique Properties
- Coral-inspired, this teapot has a single handle that effectively encompasses handling the teapot from all directions (overhead, left or right) and is inclusive of the myriad of ways different cultures handle a teapot. The indent at the back of the pot allows the pot to be pinched and lifted. Incorporating the lid's design into the handle, the lines of the teapot pleasingly flows around the whole form.

- Coil-constructed, altered, carved and textured earthenware; shino glaze, oxidation fired (1200°C)
- Design Challenge
- The most challenging part was constructing the handle. Clay being a soft and malleable material prior firing made it difficult to maintain and keep the overhead handle in position. The highly intricate coral texture of the teapot also required a lot of meticulous work.
- Inspiration
- As a child, I loved visiting the beach with my family. Picking seashells and exploring the corals that were washed on the shores was my favourite pastime. Memories of these happy moments have always stayed firmly with me. Inspired by the intricacy and elegant details on corals, I created the series "Coral - Rhythm of the Seas", to commemorate the wonderful times of my childhood.

- Started in January 2013 and finished in February 2013.
- Operation Flow
- With its single handle, this teapot can effectively be handled from all directions (overhead, left or right). It embraces a culturally myriad of ways of handling a teapot.
