About Harmonious Forest Mamanu o le Nofoaga

O le Vaomatua Felagolagomaʻi o se mamanu o le nofoaga mo se fanua e 5300 mita fasitele i Taichung. O le fuafuaga e faavae i luga o elemene se tolu: laina totonugalemu, avanoa avanoa, ma faavaeaga. O faavaeaga o laau lanumeamata ma laina fesuiaʻi faigofie e fefeliaʻi e faaata mai ai le matagofie o valiga pusa ma tusitusiga a Sasaʻe. O se ala talia lelei ua laina i laau paina o Taiwan, laau kamefo, laau Madagascar almond ma laau bald cypress. O mutia, se alalaupapa laʻititi, se vaitafe tafe, laau fuga ma se vaituloto i le faitotoʻa e fausia ai se vaaiga faifaatoaga. Unique Properties: This project aims to create a mutualistic interaction for man and nature. Different layers of green and concise geometric lines stacking and interweaving fuse into a harmonious unity, where the aesthetic of eastern brush painting and calligraphy is presented.
Dimensions & Packaging: The project is 5300 square meter.

Production Technology: The front yard is an open area. To build a gentle landscape field, the design team brings greenery elements in and plays with light and shadow, with design technique such as multilayer rendering to create a rich, various green filed. Through the seamless combination of the playful public art installation and simple wall with the project name Harmonious Forest imprinted, alongside the rich, delicate greenery, the beauty of simplicity among the space is highlighted.
Research: The design team applies a traditional Chinese garden design philosophy, by using the window as a frame, the view outstand becomes a painting of nature, and in different season comes a different view. The blank space lets the light and shadow have their moment and brings the greenery outside in. To live is to conformity with nature, and with a residence changes with time, the residents can live in comfort and ease.
Inspiration: The overall layout focuses on three elements: axes, blank space, and layers. The deliberately left blank small spaces connect and become a complete scenic recreation site.
Project Duration: The project finished in August 20119 in Taichung.
Operation Flow: The green grass on the front yard, the small bridge and flowing stream, the blooming flowers and trees, and the calming pond at the gate that helps moderate the temperature all together constitute a rustic picture, just like a banquet of literati in ancient China. On the sides of the welcoming trail extending along the axis stand a row of Taiwan pines, camphor trees, madagascar almonds and bald cypresses, spreading their branches like a welcoming host.
