Uiga Fa'apitoa: From atmosphere to focused light, three elements are connected by magnets to create five different settings of light. The sculptural piece is designed to inspire a new interest in how light can transform the look, feel, and atmosphere of our homes. With Scacco Matto elements, the user can create an occasional vase or a sculptural dinner light; it encourages audiences to explore and interact with shapes and light.

The five possible combinations are reminiscent of chess, hence the name Scacco Matto, the Italian translation of checkmate.
